Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MooBots, operated by Steven DiLeo, collects, uses, and shares personal information through moobots.com, the MooBot Studio desktop application, and the MooBots licensing service.
Information we collect
- Account and order information: name, email address, billing details, account credentials in protected form, order history, transaction identifiers, and refund status.
- License and device information: license entitlement, product and application version, installation identifier, user-provided device name, a one-way machine fingerprint, activation and validation times, IP address, and basic platform metadata.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and information you choose to provide when requesting help.
- Website and security information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, cookies required for accounts and checkout, and security or diagnostic logs.
Payment credentials are processed by PayPal or another payment provider displayed at checkout. MooBots receives transaction status and identifiers but does not receive your complete card or PayPal password.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and downloads; process purchases and refunds; issue, validate, and reset licenses; provide support; secure and troubleshoot the service; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and communicate material product or policy changes.
Desktop automations and AI providers
MooBot Studio runs workflows on the device or environment you control. Project files, browser content, and automation inputs are not automatically uploaded to MooBots. When you configure an AI provider or another third-party integration, the content you direct the workflow to send is transmitted to that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Provider credentials are referenced by the application’s secret system and are not intended to be stored in Git-friendly project files or ordinary logs.
How we share information
We disclose information only as needed to service providers that help operate MooBots, including website and server hosting, payment processing, transactional email, security, and customer support; to third-party integrations you choose; to professional advisers; or when required to protect rights, safety, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We retain account, order, license, and support records for as long as needed to provide the product, honor the license and refund policy, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backups and required records.
Cookies and browser signals
The site uses cookies needed for sign-in, shopping-cart, checkout, preferences, and security. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not currently interpreted as a separate opt-out because there is no uniform standard for them. We do not permit third parties to collect personal information on this site for cross-site behavioral advertising, although payment and infrastructure providers may process technical information to deliver their services.
Your choices and requests
You may update ordinary account information through your account or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@moobots.com. We may verify your identity before acting. Some information may be retained where needed for a transaction, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children
MooBots is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our providers operate.
Policy changes
We may update this policy to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material.
